Service & Test Engineer

The main duties will include:

  • Test and sign-off equipment prior to despatch.
  • Fault find, repair and maintain customer equipment to PCB component level.
  • Provide telephone support to distributors and customers.
  • Install and commission equipment on the customer’s site.
  • Project Manage customer site activity as necessary.
  • Provide customer training.
  • Support spare part and service office administration.
  • Travel nationally and internationally at short notice.

The candidate must be able to use an oscilloscope, fault find, read drawings of electrical mechanical content and be computer literate.

The position will suit a proactive and dynamic individual with drive and energy to succeed and grow within the position and the company. The role involves interfacing with our International Group Companies and occasional overseas travel, so will demand excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Business Development Executive - Position

Cheltenham Induction Heaters Limited a member of the Ambrell Group that specialise in the design and manufacture of induction heating solutions. We serve an International customer base for the industrial, scientific, medical, automotive and aerospace industries.

Our business is based on a strong product line manufactured both in the UK and USA, with the UK providing bespoke engineered solutions to integrate our induction heaters into production environments.

We require a Business Development Executive to grow sales in the South of England and be an important member of our Cheltenham Team. The position can be office or home based.

The main duties will include:

  • Manage the territory with account management but with a focussed drive to secure new business

  • Meet and exceed Target

  • Maintain the company CRM system

  • Advise on, and support marketing campaigns within the territory

  • Stay abreast of company products and competition.


This position will suit a proactive and dynamic sales entrepreneur with drive and energy to succeed, and grow within the position and company. It will involve interfacing with our International Group Companies and occasional overseas travel, so will demand excellent written and verbal communication skills.


The candidate must be able to demonstrate success, present ROI and solution selling capability, with gravitas and business savvy. A strong desire to overcome objection and rejection, and maximise rewards. A strong team player and activity leader within the territory.
